PV Reminder: Gleaners This Saturday!

We will be meeting in front of the Student Center (UGL side) at 12:35pm to carpool. We need additional drivers, so if you are willing to drive, please let us know!

Gleaners is on Beaufait between Vernor and Kercheval, two blocks East of Mt. Elliot.

From I-94, exit Mt. Elliot, head South. Continue to E. Vernor, turn left (East), continue to Beaufait, turn right (South) to Gleaners.

From I-75, exit Gratiot, head North. Continue to E. Vernor, turn right (East), continue to Beaufait, turn right (South) to Gleaners.

General Member Meeting this Thursday!

We already got a great amount of students signed up for our October projects! Very exciting!

We will have a general member meeting this thursday, in which we will discuss our upcoming events, fundraising ideas, membership info...etc

Help package and store food boxes that will be later sent to local nonprofit agencies and charities that directly feed the poor and hungry

Help paint the floats for the Thanksgiving Day Parade!

The World Medical Relief
Help sort through and package medical supplies to be sent to the countries in need
Date: Thursdays, October 7th or 14th, 2010
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Location: 11745 Rosa Parks Blvd, Detroit, MI 48206-1270
(up to 15 students for each day)

Carpooling information: If you would like to car pool, please indicate so in the email. We will always meet in front of the Student Center (facing UGL) and carpool to the locations!
